What should be paid particular attention to when setting up a kindergarten?
Room design in kindergartens is of central importance. The room acts as a "third educator" and supports children in their development.
A well-thought-out kindergarten interior offers security, opportunities for retreat, but also space for movement, initiative, and participation.
If the furniture is functional and child-friendly, fewer conflicts arise and both children and teachers feel more comfortable in everyday life. This promotes the quality of the entire teaching.
What principles are the Kibemo and kinna kindergarten inventory lists based on?
Our inventory list for kindergarten furnishings is based on the kinnaraum concept, which focuses on reduction, clarity, and flexibility.
We recommend a minimalist setup with natural wood shelves, preferably on castors, to allow for flexible room design. The furniture is designed at children's eye level and promotes independence.
